Unpolished is a new, all-femme rock band from Los Angeles, CA. The band formed when vocalist Mary Bugbee and guitarist Celinda Chang met by fate at a show, quickly becoming friends and bonding over a shared love and passion for music. When the opportunity to perform at a local show presented itself, they wrote some songs and recruited Jazmin Alvarez on bass and Jasmine Day on drums, and thus unpolished* made their debut in April 2024.

Sitting somewhere in between alternative rock, punk rock, pop punk, heavy/hard rock, and grunge with influences ranging from Green Day and My Chemical Romance to Demi Lovato and L7, unpolished* is already drawing attention and turning heads in the local rock scene with their energetic live performances and passionate songwriting — just five months and nine shows into their career Their end goal? World domination.
