Cat Nasty is a black and white comic by North Carolina artist and Electric Frankenstein drummer Wheez Von Klaw. It concerns a grave digging corpse named Santasmo (in a weird Santa outfit, natch) and his Trick Or Treating Cats. The cats are a couple of weirdos in ratty cat costumes and they all live in a haunted house. There is also a character who sings in a horror punk band and everyone in this comic commits acts of antisocial behavior. After buying the comic you can scan a code inside the book that directs you to youtube where you can listen to the comic while you read along just like those old Power Records comics from the 70’s.

The drawings are fun as is the writing and characters but hearing them come to audio life is amazing. Wheez performs the voices and he is hilarious and the sound effects are like the ones in the old Monty Python records in that they are very pronounced and that makes them funny as well. If you love ‘zines and underground comics then you will love this.
