Punk Globe: Hi Shannon thanks for chatting with us. Can you tell us about yourself?
Shannon: Hi Lisa, thank you for having me. I’m a Model, Actress, and a Director
Punk Globe: I know you are an indie actress. Can you tell us what else you love to do?
Shannon: I love going to the movies of course, spending time with my friends and my family when I can, and reading
Punk Globe: Describe your indie community
Shannon: FAMILY!!! The people that I work with are the most amazing people, even the ones that I’m not in films with, we all really do try to support each other, by sharing posts and donating to crowdfunders, I can honestly say that I have met some great people who will definitely be lifelong friends
Punk Globe: What inspires you?
Shannon: I get this question a lot and it’s always a different answer for me and I think that’s good lo..I get inspired by the people around me, there are so many amazing projects happening right now and I’m so happy and proud of everyone and that’s inspiring, to see everyone doing following their dreams and doing so well
Punk Globe: Tell us about a memorable role you have played.
Shannon:Brooke in Just A Night In The Woods from the anthology Head On The Writers Block, that was my first leading role, I worked with amazing actors like Jim Krutt, Russell Sage Patrick, and Nate Nelson…and I got to kick some ass.
Punk Globe: Favorite local music artists?
Shannon: 2 sides 2 die…I love them and Zack Burkett is a good friend
Punk Globe: The hardest role they’ve ever played, and why.
Shannon: Actually my role in my film The Sabilla Six, im essentially playing myself, and this film is very personal and it’s been a challenge
Punk Globe: What motivates you to act?
Shannon: The fact that people said I could never could do this, so spite lol
Punk Globe: What sort of acting roles do you hope you are performing in the future?
Shannon: I really want to do a comedy, I had the best time doing a video for the film The Legend Of Crick Foot, so I would really like a role in a comedy or even a horror comedy
Punk Globe: What are some of the difficulties of the acting business?
Shannon: Learning your lines is one, I had to learn 2 scenes for one day and each scene was 3 pages, that wasn’t easy lol
Punk Globe: What advice would you give to aspiring actors?
Shannon: Follow your dreams and don’t let anything hold you back, you never know what you can do until you try
