We are excited to announce that REDD KROSS has signed a book deal with Omnibus Press and are currently working on a memoir tentatively entitled “Now You’re One Of Us – The Incredible Story of REDD KROSS, the Coolest Band in the World”.
From navigating the early days of the Los Angeles punk scene all the way through to their current status as internationally recognized purveyors of world-class genre-defying rock n’ roll, Jeff and Steven are definitively telling their story in collaboration with award-winning music journalist and pop culture historian DAN EPSTEIN.
Amongst his many credits, DAN has written for Rolling Stone, MOJO, The Forward, The Los Angeles Times, and the LA Weekly.
He is also the author of several acclaimed books, including Big Hair & Plastic Grass: A Funky Ride Through Baseball and America in the Swinging ‘70s. They are having a blast so far, and are looking forward to sharing it with everyone.

Before moving to Hollywood.. The 2023 Oscars seemed to contain three noteworthy themes: a clean sweep by a wacky-yet-heartfelt story of an immigrant woman who alternates between her infinite lives in the multiverse; comical moments from host JIMMY KIMMEL to lighten the insurmountable pressure in the room and record-breaking wins for Asian American and African American nominees.
However, it did totally isolate residents in the area with no vehicles or walking within blocks of the event… Hollywood Blvd was closed for a week between Highland and Orange causing traffic jams in the area… They had F18 fighter jets to celebrate Top Gun which scared everyone in the hood they thought we were under attack…
Host JIMMY KIMMEL used the Fighter Jets Zooming low to take the stage with a parachute on…

“It is with profound sadness that I must share the news that my beloved brother DIX has left this life. He passed away peacefully in his sleep last Friday night. Only 4 months after the passing of ANNICK, his beautiful wife of 44 years. We’re convinced that he died of a broken heart. Like his mother and father before him, he was an artist to his core. Besides being a gifted guitar player, Dix was a painter and a luthier as well. He was a truly gentle soul and a man of few words who channeled his rage through his guitar. He will always be my little brother and my guitar hero to R.I.P. DIX …”
