This month’s PUNKS OF THE MONTH award goes to STEPHEN COLBERT, who will end his long-time reign as the host of the very popular TONIGHT SHOW on CBS, now Paramount TV.

 “The Late Show with STEPHEN COLBERT,” the most-watched late-night program on U.S. broadcast television and a frequent platform of satire aimed at orange hitler, will end its 10-year run on CBS in May 2026 …”I’m not being replaced. This is all just going away,” the 61-year-old comedian said.

“The Late Show” debuted in 1993 with DAVID LETTERMAN  as host after he was passed over for NBC’s “The Tonight Show.” COLBERT, a regular on “The Daily Show” before he hosted “THE COLBERT REPORT” on Comedy Central, took over “THE LATE SHOW” in 2015. “It is a fantastic job,” COLBERT said “I wish somebody else was getting it, and it’s a job that I’m looking forward to doing with this usual gang of idiots for another 10 months.”In a clip from Monday’s The Late Show posted on social media, Colbert joked in his monologue, “As someone who has always been a proud employee of this network, I am offended, and I don’t know if anything will ever repair my trust in this company. But just taking a stab at it, I’d say $16 million would help.”COLBERT  was off when Paramount and lard ass’s team announced the settlement earlier this month. Lard ass had sued CBS over the way that 60 Minutes edited an interview with KAMALA HARRIS in the lead up to the 2024 election. Many legal experts saw the lawsuit as meritless, and so did the Paramount-CBS’ legal team, but the company needs lard ass administration approval for its merger with Skydance. BILL OWENS quit 60 Minutes, feeling the show was compromised. ABC  fired TERRY MORAN for tweeting that top White House aide stephen miller as someone “richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. After not backing down with lard ass for all his lies. JIMMY KIMMEL, who has been very vocal with his hate for lard ass, is also stepping down.
