Introducing Filmmaker Gabor Toth

Interview By: Ginger Coyote

I met Gabor at my Birthday Party through mutual pals Pauley Perrette and Papa Wheelz. I thought an interview with a young filmmaker would be interesting. I hope you enjoy our interview.

Punk Globe: Thanks for the interview. It was nice meeting you at my Birthday Party. I hope you had fun. You are attending filmmaking classes. I know it was onSunset Tell us about the school and what made you enroll there.

Gabor: I enrolled at Los Angeles Film School because I wanted to combine my passion for cars, music, and entertainment into something meaningful. My goal is to create content that moves people emotionally and tells compelling stories.

Punk Globe: Tell the readers about some of the documentaries and films that you have worked on.

Gabor: I’ve been working on various short films and independent productions, both in and out of school. As a Jib Operator and 1st AC, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience in different production environments.

Punk Globe: Who are some of your inspirations for filmmakers?

Gabor: While Tarantino is great, I don’t draw inspiration from just one source. I’m inspired by filmmakers who are trying to bring fresh perspectives to the industry. I appreciate those who are working to make cinema exciting and authentic again, especially in an era where many productions feel formulaic.

Punk Globe: What are the time frames for classes that you want to learn at your school?

Gabor: LA Film School operates on a monthly semester basis. It’s fast-paced, which helps us graduate sooner, but also allows us to experience different aspects of filmmaking quickly. This format lets students discover their strengths while getting comprehensive hands-on experience.

Punk Globe: When did you realize that film production was what you wanted to do, Gabor?

Gabor: It hit me at a concert one night. The experience gave me clarity about wanting to create and entertain. Music continues to be a huge inspiration in my production and editing work. It guides my creative process and helps me stay motivated.

Punk Globe: Tell us about the cameras you use to film projects with.

Gabor: At school, we work with professional equipment including Sony, Canon, and ARRI Alexa cameras, giving us experience with industry-standard tools.

Punk Globe: What is in the future for you Gabor?

Gabor: I’m focusing on automotive content creation, hoping to combine car culture with dynamic filmmaking and great music. I’m also passionate about music video production, so that might be another path. Right now, I’m building experience on sets and networking while keeping open to opportunities.

Punk Globe: Do you have any addresses that you would like to share with the readers? Such as Social media or websites.

Gabor: Currently focusing on developing my skills and building a strong portfolio while completing my education. Once I have more work to showcase, I’ll be excited to share it.

Punk Globe: Describe yourself in three words.

Gabor: Just send it.

Punk Globe: Any last thoughts for Punk Globe readers?

Gabor: This is my first interview, and while I’m early in my journey, I hope to inspire people through my work in the future. Thank you for this opportunity.
